Star Sighting!

While Kev was eating at an organic restaurant over in Santa Monica, he noticed he was sitting right across from Cheers!, Will & Grace, Kingpin actor (etc.).... Woody Harrelson!

Happy LOVE Day!

We celebrated Valentine's Day a couple days early this year to beat the restaurant crowd. Great idea! Kev surprised me by making reservations at what now is the best restaurant I've ever been to, The Hobbit. It's a family owned, house turned restaurant. They only have 1 seating a night & reservations must be made about 2 weeks in advance.

The friendly staff greeted us with their self-titled,
The Hobbit Champagne. It was very good & easy to drink! They led us and the rest of the guests down to the wine cellar where there was a bar of about 10 different hors d'oeuvres.

Here are some pictures of our 7-course meal! WHOA! I could barely finish the filet... which worked out, bc it was a little too rare for me. I just ate the borders & the mushrooms.
It was still GRUB!

Definitely a "unique dining experience". That's their quote... not my cheesiness :)

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's day; Celebrating our love for our friends and family, but mostly God's unconditional love for us!!

We'd like you to meet...

Abigail Keilyn Chin-Hatanaka

Abby is our (technically Kev's) new puppy that Auntie Kristine gave to us. She is a 7 month old Black Labrador/Beagle Mix. Full of loving energy, Abby just wants to run, eat, wrestle, and cuddle with you!

Today she went in for her spay. We were a bit worried at first, going under and all... Kev sent me this picture after he dropped her off.

But a few hours after, we got word that the procedure went well and she is fine. Can't wait to get her back tomorrow and spoil her some more!

Poke has been doing well with her now. This was the deciding factor. We definitely wouldn't have been able to take Abby in if they couldn't be friends. It was tough at first, but now they are playing and wrestling every day.

Abby got spayed today

Today I dropped Abby off at Bixby Animal Hospital. She was happy and running around, jumping on everyone and happy as always... little did she know, it would be the last time that she would be happy to visit Dr. A.

Remember When Abby ate her poo...

... and instead of reaching into her clinched jaws, attempt to pry her mouth open and risk getting poo embedded into my finger nails, I proceeded to slap her in the face, she eventually dropped the poo. I never did get poo on my hands and her slap happy friend ended up rescuing her from the poisons in poo.
